At the beginning of autumn, many summer residents continue to grow beets. We are talking about late-ripening varieties of this garden crop.
The harvest of such root crops will most likely take place at the end of September and the beginning of October.
In the meantime, owners of country plots have the opportunity to make a final contribution to improving the quality of the future harvest.
We are talking about using a product that will make the beet pulp juicy and have a bright taste.
In addition, root vegetables will become even more beneficial for the human body.
So, what September fertilizer can be called ideal for beets? This question was answered by the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh.
How to make super fertilizer for beets
A 100-liter barrel is ideal for preparing the solution.
It’s very simple: you just need to add a packet of potassium humate to the water.
This product is a source of several microelements important for beets.
First of all, we are talking about potassium, of course. It is also worth noting that the fertilizer is a source of calcium, iron, sulfur and other components.
And it’s good if the product used is enriched with iodine.
The prepared solution should be poured into a watering can. You should also add feed chalk there: a 0.5 liter jar is enough for 10 liters of potassium humate solution.
The resulting product should be added to the soil in the beetroot bed.
