Summer residents willingly listen to the recommendations of the lunar calendar mainly in the spring, during the sowing campaign.

It also has to do with harvesting, since the storage of the harvest depends on the phases of the moon.

We will tell you which days in August are best for harvesting potatoes.

It is also worth noting that the timing is determined by the vegetable variety, so harvesting can be carried out in September.

After flowering has finished, 15-20 days should pass, plus another 3 weeks, and you can harvest the potatoes.

The best time to go potato picking is from August 14 to 20, as well as August 25, 29 and 30.

The best days in September

Late potatoes are harvested in September and even in October.

Usually, 2.5-4 months are counted from the planting date or determined by the condition of the soil: if it is dry, you can dig.

The gardener's lunar calendar recommends doing this on the 1st, 2nd, 6th to 11th, 15th to 21st, 23rd to 26th, and also on September 29th and 30th.
