Experienced gardeners do not need to be told how dangerous late blight can be: the disease can easily leave us without a tomato harvest.

Therefore, it is important to do everything possible to prevent the disease from occurring.

If preventive measures prove ineffective, it is necessary to deal with the disease in a timely manner.

What measures will be effective?

Calcium nitrate

It is definitely worth trying this method, as it has no contraindications and will only benefit the tomatoes. You need to take one large spoon of fertilizer per ten liters of water and spray the plants.

The procedure is performed once every week and a half.

The method is also effective in protecting against blossom-end rot.

Using rotted straw

You need to take about a kilogram of straw per bucket of water. Also add two spoons of urea.

Do not touch the product for 96 hours.

Afterwards, all that remains is to filter the composition and begin processing the leaves. You can forget about late blight and other diseases.
