How to feed cucumbers at the end of July
A gardener who wants to get a rich harvest of cucumbers should add the following agents to a container filled with 10 liters of mullein solution:
- wood ash (a couple of liter jars);
- magnesium nitrate (2 tbsp);
- potassium nitrate (3 tbsp)
The result will be a mixture that needs to be used to water the soil under the garden crop. Each cucumber bush should receive a liter of liquid.
It is advisable to feed the plant immediately after it has been well watered with plain water.
How to feed cucumbers in August
Summer residents should also learn in advance about the important August feeding for cucumbers.
In the tenth days of the final summer month, the popular garden crop needs potassium sulfate and superphosphate. A small amount of unburned wood residues will not hurt either.
