But incorrect use of the product will certainly lead to tragic consequences.

What plants need soda

This product will have a positive effect on flora representatives that are susceptible to such a disease as powdery mildew.

If traces of this disease appear on plants, then you need to urgently prepare a soda solution.

This is done very simply: in a bucket filled with plain water, you need to pour baking soda (2 tablespoons). You can also use another type of soda - calcined. But then one tablespoon will be enough.

In the same container you need to pour 50 grams of grated laundry soap.

The result will be a solution that should be used to treat the following crops (if signs of powdery mildew have become visible on them):

  • cucumbers;
  • zucchini;
  • gooseberry.

Sodium bicarbonate can also be used as an ingredient in copper-based fertilizers.

But you shouldn’t use soda to deoxidize the soil or protect plants from gastropods.
