Is it possible to add ash when planting cucumbers?
Yes, but the amount depends on the type of soil. If it is clayey, add two tablespoons of ash to each hole.
You can also add 10-15 grams of nitroammophoska. Fertilizers must be mixed with soil and watered.
If the soil is sandy, add three tablespoons of ash, 12-18 grams of nitroammophoska and 150-200 grams of humus or compost to each hole.
If cucumbers are planted in black soil, you don’t need to add humus/compost; a tablespoon of ash is enough.
