Daffodils are bright flowers that delight with their appearance in the spring.
But if you don't have your own country plot to grow your favorite flowers, you can safely do it on the balcony or even on the windowsill. After all, even at home, such plants bloom well.
But it is important to remember several rules that were shared by Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert from the online publication BelNovosti.
As the specialist noted, for the rapid development of daffodils and their long flowering, it is necessary to water them in a timely manner and add fertilizer to the soil.
As for the last point, fertilizers can be taken based on nitrogen and sulfur. They should be applied after the sprouts appear.
A repeat procedure is necessary after the buds appear, and in the future, fertilizers should be added once every two weeks.
It is also necessary to take into account the air temperature in the room. The optimum is about 10-12 degrees Celsius. A higher temperature may result in short flowering.
You don't need to water the plant too often. It's enough to do it once or twice every two weeks. You should focus on the soil condition. It is believed that plants need the maximum amount of moisture during the flowering period.
Earlier we talked about why daffodils grow small and do not bloom.
