To do this, you will need a mixture of natural dry fertilizers, which must be evenly distributed over the plants.
How to feed strawberries
The first thing you should "treat" your strawberry bushes with is tobacco dust. It is an excellent natural remedy for fighting various pests, including aphids, ants, weevils, cruciferous fleas, and others.
In addition, it serves as an effective fertilizer for the soil, improving plant nutrition and activating beneficial microorganisms.
For 3 strawberry beds, 2 liters of tobacco dust is enough.
The second "delicacy" for strawberries is ash. It contains many useful macro- and microelements that are easily absorbed by plants.
Ash promotes the growth of strawberries, improves the process of photosynthesis and contains valuable potassium, which is more abundant in it than other elements.
Like tobacco dust, ash also helps repel pests.
Mix 1 kg of ash with tobacco dust and use this mixture to treat strawberry beds. This can be done 2-3 times during the spring.
