A good housewife has more than one or two types of indoor plants in her home. All of them require special care rules, require attention and sometimes begin to fade.

In this case, you need to figure out what is wrong with the flower in order to save it and not let it die completely.

Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", an agronomist and landscape designer, told how to revive a houseplant in several ways.

Feed it up

Try feeding the plant. But instead of the store-bought supplement, use this one:

  • beat the peel of 2 bananas with a blender;
  • shells of 3 eggs;
  • Mix everything together, adding 3 tablespoons of coffee grounds.

Finally, add a little water to make a thick paste and feed.

Alternatively, you can dissolve 2 tablespoons of 3% hydrogen peroxide in a liter and use this mixture from a spray bottle daily.

Rearrange

Move the flower to a shady and cool room for a week, reducing watering at the same time. After this, the plant should perk up and can be returned to its old place.

Dry it

This method is good when the soil in the pot has not had time to dry out between waterings. But if the plant was heavily overwatered, it is better to replant.
