In March, summer residents need to devote time to ornamental crops. Before sowing and other fuss in the garden, it is necessary to prune ornamental plants.

Thanks to this procedure, they will bloom to the delight of their owners and the envy of their neighbors.

Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" - a scientist agronomist and landscape designer, told which plants must be pruned in March

Wisteria

Experienced gardeners say that if you don’t do this in March, the next time the plant can be pruned will be in July or August.

Young shoots are cut off, leaving two buds on each.

Rose

You need to wait for stable heat, after which you can trim the bush. It is believed that you can trim a rose without fear, since the shoots will grow back quite quickly.

The cuts are made at an angle of 45 degrees, 5-7 mm above the bud.

Hydrangea

In March, hydrangea is pruned so that it blooms all summer. It is believed that the best time is March. They say that all stems can be cut.

Clematis

The plant is cut, leaving 25-30 cm above the ground. Last year's shoots are removed. Without pruning, intensive growth and abundant flowering cannot be expected.
