If you want to get strong and healthy pepper seedlings, you need to avoid some mistakes when growing them.
Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist and landscape designer, spoke about what can ruin your harvest.
Excessive soil moisture
Remember, too much moisture can cause root rot and fungal diseases. Water your seedlings in moderation to avoid this problem.
Use warm water every two days at a rate of 40 g per liter of soil.
Insufficient lighting
Peppers require a lot of light, especially if they are indoors. Provide them with 10 hours of light per day using a white spectrum lamp.
Premature transplantation into open ground
Allow the pepper seedlings to become established and grow before moving them to the garden bed.
Replant only after the outside temperature has been consistently maintained at a level of at least +20 degrees.
