Even if you have never heard of a plant such as snowberry, you have probably seen it – in city parks and neighboring gardens.
According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , it is a bush with red berries, which are sometimes called "wolf".
By the way, snowberry fruits can be black or white – the latter option is especially common when it comes to decorating summer cottages.
In addition to its attractive appearance, this shrub also boasts that it is a valuable honey plant.
The plant is unpretentious, does not require additional feeding and does not require pest control.
But its advantages do not end there: the snowberry tolerates such a procedure as pruning well and is resistant to winter cold.
All of the above makes the shrub an excellent option for creating a hedge.
If you are “fired up” by such an idea, choose 2-3-year-old snowberry seedlings for this purpose. Prepare planting holes for them approximately 60 cm deep. When planting bushes, leave 120-150 cm of free space between them.
For owners of such fences who have noticed signs of a fungal disease on the bush (which happens quite rarely), we can advise using any of the modern means - treat the snowberry with "Topaz", "Skor" or "Fundazol", and the problem will be solved.
Previously, we talked about what to add to sawdust to make it even more useful.
