Fortunately, the same cannot be said about an onion head, which is always available. This is what you will need if you decide to get rid of mold.
The whole point is that onions have powerful phytoncidal properties. The substances contained in them have a detrimental effect on fungal spores, which is why they are destroyed literally after the first use.
To combat mold, you will have to prepare an onion infusion.
Chop a small onion, put it in a liter jar and fill it with warm water, and after 2-3 hours strain and use the resulting liquid for watering.
The next day, when the soil dries out, you will see that the mold has dried out too. Don't wait too long - carefully clean off the fungus colonies and add fresh soil, which should be disinfected beforehand.
