Here are some options:
- Seeds. In winter, seed material is a little cheaper.
- Soil for seedlings. If it is sold in bags, it makes no difference when you buy it.
- Containers for seedlings. Some sow seedlings as early as January.
- Lamps for illuminating seedlings. Remember that some plants do not need illumination.
- Garden equipment. In winter, it may cost more in some stores.
- Personal protective equipment. Various gloves, suits, knee pads, etc.
