Few people know, but the popular fertilizer based on weeds can be improved by adding familiar components to it.

Such additives accelerate the maturation of the fertilizer, and what is even more important – they enhance the nutritional effect for plants several times.

Nitrogen fertilizers

Nitrogen, which is part of calcium nitrate, urea, azophoska, ammonia, ammonium nitrate, etc., makes the fertilizer from weeds even more nutritious. In addition, the composition will be ready 1-2 days earlier than usual.

To do this, add a tablespoon of any of the above compositions to a 10-liter bucket of grass and water.

Cover the container with film or a bag and leave in a warm place for 3-4 days until foam appears.

Organics

The most common organic additives are banana peels and potato peelings, which should be finely chopped beforehand.

These components will increase the potassium content in the fermentation product.

In addition, you can include 3-4 tablespoons of eggshells crushed to a powder state and 3 tablespoons of vinegar in the fertilizer.

Finally, some gardeners do not hesitate to add old jam, moldy bread, trichoderma, potassium humate and “Baikal M1” to the weeds.
