Many gardeners are confident that they plant carrots correctly.

And if the crop yield turns out to be poor and of poor quality, such summer residents have no doubt: the problem is in unfavorable weather conditions, as well as in the deficiency of nutrients and moisture.

However, often the reason for low carrot yields is precisely the incorrect planting of the plant.

The procedure must be carried out in compliance with certain rules.

There is an interesting approach, which was described by the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .

What to do before planting carrots

Before performing the procedure, it is worth adding unburned wood residues to the soil: one glass for each square meter of the area.

Thanks to this fertilizer, the soil will contain enough potassium and phosphorus. In addition, carrots will acquire protection from a number of diseases.

A Clever Way to Plant Carrots

Do you want to get more sweet orange root vegetables? Then use a block when planting your garden crop.

This device is needed to create compacted furrows: the soil must be well “compressed”.

It is not worth pouring "clean" seeds into the resulting depressions. Before starting the corresponding procedure, the seed material must be mixed with sand.

In this case, it will be possible to achieve uniform distribution of seeds. In addition, thanks to the "additive" the condition of the soil in the garden bed will improve.

If you sow carrots in compliance with all the rules described above, then there will be every chance of getting a double harvest.

Earlier, summer residents were told about a fertilizer that is 5 times better than manure.
