The time has come to plant tomato seedlings. But in order to get a good harvest, you need to choose truly fertile varieties.

It is worth choosing modern varieties that are maximally adapted to all growing conditions and climate.

Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist and landscape designer, tells us which varieties of tomatoes need to be sown for seedlings in the near future.

They tolerate heat and cold at night well, do not get sick, are resistant to diseases, do not require repeated spraying with pesticides and do not require the introduction of chemicals to obtain a rich harvest. Tomatoes grow tasty and in large quantities.

This is an early variety, up to 150 cm high. The fruits grow large, dense consistency, have a caught form weighing from 120 to 150 grams. The taste of such tomatoes is balanced and sweet. It has few seeds, so it goes well in salads and fresh.

Striped varieties - "Fiery Marzano", "White Tiger", "Striped Student", "Rural", "Jazz". They are somewhat similar to the variety "Daring Mary".

For pickling, choose the "Lemon Wedges" variety. This is a mid-season variety that grows to a height of 130 cm. The seedling needs to be formed into two or three stems. Tomatoes ripen by the end of summer, in clusters of 4 to 8 pieces. The fruits are orange, weighing from 120 to 150 grams, very tasty. You can collect up to 10 kg from one bush. Ideal for canning.

Orange varieties - "Geisha", "Rum Baba", "Banana", "Kind Heart", "Orange Fountain".

The "Pink Honey" variety has heart-shaped, pink fruits weighing from 300 to 400 grams. The fruits are dense, juicy and sweet.

Pink varieties - "Mazarini", "Raspberry Empire", "Chio Chio San", "De Barao Pink" and "Heart of Buffalo".

A very productive variety is "Big Plum". Up to 20 kg can be collected from a bush. The fruits grow dense, heavy and have a round shape. The variety is mid-season. Fruits that are not ripe can be collected before frost and laid out under a bed to ripen.

The fruit weight reaches 300 grams. Tomatoes are resistant to diseases such as root rot and late blight. Characterized by high fertility.

Choose these varieties of tomatoes for yourself and you will be able to harvest a large crop of delicious fruits.
