Many summer residents, on whose plots they have planted a garden of fruit trees, ask themselves the question: how to cure plants whose leaves are disfigured by moniliosis?

However, the problem is that, according to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , the disease affects not only the leaves, but also the branches. The very tips of the young growth suffer especially.

Unfortunately, pruning damaged shoots, as well as biological preparations used in the fall, will not produce any effect.

Experienced gardeners remind beginners: even chemical preparations cannot cure moniliosis in one season.

Instead, in the spring, as soon as the temperature outside is stable and above zero, start treating the garden with biological preparations.

It is worth using Trichodermin, Fitosporin, Planriz and others like them every 10-14 days.

Thus, you are faced with the task of treating the plantings at least ten times during the season.

In addition to using preparations, you will need to prune the trees, removing all branches and shoots affected by the disease.

But don't overdo it: you shouldn't cut off more than a third of a tree's crown in one season.

Earlier we talked about plants that cannot grow next to each other.
