Gardeners and vegetable growers who have a negative attitude towards purchased fertilizers use only natural preparations for feeding. One of them is an infusion of weeds.
The composition of such fertilizer is represented, first of all, by nitrogen, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, numerous vitamins, organic acids, phytoncides and other, undoubtedly, useful substances.
In general, the benefits that an infusion of weeds will bring to cultivated plants are directly related to the herbs used to prepare it.
So, the best of the best is considered to be the fertilizer for which the summer resident “got hold of” nettles, dandelions, goutweed, burdock, plantain and horse sorrel.
Infusions of other herbs will undoubtedly also benefit crops, but they will contain fewer nutrients.
Want to know how to properly prepare an infusion of weeds? Everything is extremely simple: fill a plastic bucket with green "raw material", press it lightly and fill it with water so that the weeds are completely covered with liquid.
You can also add a small amount of ash or organic waste, such as banana peels, to the bucket.
Leave the solution to infuse for 7 days. You will know it is ready when foam and a pungent odor appear.
Before use, dilute the resulting concentrate at a rate of 2 liters per bucket of water.
