How to prune raspberries in autumn
It's very simple: you need to remove all the above-ground part so that stumps 50-70 centimeters high remain.
The cuts should be even and smooth. It is advisable to cover them with garden pitch. The cut branches and foliage should be burned.
After pruning, it is necessary to add compost, it will serve as insulation.
Everbearing varieties can be pruned in late autumn, but pruning should be completed three weeks before the onset of frost.
