How to get rid of horseradish on the site
The most effective way to combat horseradish and other aggressive plants is to use herbicides.
But it is important to remember that they can harm nearby crops. In addition, herbicides take a long time to decompose and harm the soil.
A safer option is ammonium nitrate, but you need a lot of it, about a kilogram for a young plant and two to four kilograms for a grown one.
The method of application is simple: pour saltpeter under the bush and cover with black film to limit access to light.
You can simply cover the horseradish with a dark covering material, plywood or cardboard. Without light, the plant will die after some time.
