One of the priority tasks facing any summer resident is working with weeds.
Some of them are extremely difficult to remove as they have high survival rates.
One of these options is burdock, warns expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .
How to deal with a plant
Young burdock
Young plants are much easier to deal with, as their root system is not very developed. Therefore, the most correct method is mechanical removal of the plant.
It needs to be dug out in such a way that no roots remain in the soil.
If you are dealing with an older burdock
In this case, you will have to use a more proven method. To do this, you will need to remove the top part of the burdock with a shovel.
Try to do this in such a way as to "expose" part of the root.
Afterwards, you need to make a hole in the root system. Inside, we send salt with vinegar in a small amount. Soon there will be no trace of burdocks left.
