Biofertilizers are preparations that contain a certain amount of bacteria that help improve the condition of the soil.
These microorganisms participate in the supply of microelements to plants and also increase the overall fertility of the soil.
But if such fertilizers are stored incorrectly, the beneficial microflora quickly dies and the substance ceases to be useful.
Let's see what the expert of the online publication "Belnovosti" and agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh recommends doing.
How to properly store biofertilizers
It is very important to maintain the temperature regime and read the composition of the drug.
Some bacteria survive better at a temperature of +20, while others can live at 30-degree heat.
As for negative temperatures, it should not be less than 0 degrees - in frost, bacteria die immediately.
From this we can draw a simple conclusion: biological preparations cannot be stored in an unheated summer cottage, as the beneficial microorganisms will die.
Therefore, the best conditions for keeping them are a room with a temperature of 5 to 10 degrees Celsius.
