- Roses. It is important to hill the bush with dry soil or coarse sand, which will prevent water from collecting in a puddle near the roots.
- Clematis. Hill up with humus, peat or compost – 1-2 buckets per flower is enough. Then cover with spruce branches or cut shoots – it is better to make a homemade frame.
- Peonies. You can mulch the trunk circle with compost or peat to a height of 10 cm. But this should be done after frosts, so as not to awaken the buds.
