How to feed lawn grass in autumn
Emphasis should be placed on complex fertilizers containing all the essential microelements.
We are talking about products that have the inscription NPK. Each letter in this abbreviation means a symbol of chemical elements important for plants (N - nitrogen, P - phosphorus, K - potassium).
In autumn, lawn grass needs all of these components. But it is important to pay attention to their ratio. There should be little nitrogen (no more than 10%). The phosphorus content should be from 12 to 20%, and potassium - about 30%.
In this case, the herbaceous vegetation will prepare for frost and strengthen its roots, and untimely growth of green mass will be prevented.
Prepare a solution based on NPK fertilizer and water the lawn with the resulting liquid. The procedure must be completed before the onset of serious cold weather.
