However, there are several clever methods that will help you defeat the mole cricket, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, an agronomist and landscape designer.
How to defeat an insect
Trap with intoxicating drink
An interesting fact is that the mole cricket is partial to the popular alcoholic drink, so with its help the insect can be lured out of hiding.
Therefore, you can make a trap with beer, and then simply collect the mole crickets that you catch and do with them as you wish.
Oil with water
In order to fight insects, it is recommended to mix ordinary water with any vegetable oil (you can take the cheapest one), and then pour the prepared product into the burrows.
After a short period of time, the pest will voluntarily leave the area.
Onion
You can prepare a special valuable infusion, which generally has a positive effect on the soil and drives away insects, including the mole cricket.
You will need to mix ten liters of water and a kilogram of onion peel.
Then you need to wait six days and filter the concentrate. After that, for every two liters of the product, take a bucket of water and process the soil.
