Many people choose cacti because they are unpretentious in terms of care.
Sometimes some gardeners may forget about plants altogether, but they will be fine.
However, there is one condition due to which cacti can boast of high survival rate: correct watering, notes the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , a scientist agronomist and landscape designer.
How to water a flower correctly?
It is worth noting right away that the cactus does not react well to tap water. It is still worth filtering it for the plant, so as not to harm it. It is also customary to soften the liquid with acetic acid: three drops per four glasses of liquid will be quite enough.
It is important to remember that watering in winter and autumn is different from the summer-spring season.
Even now, the number of waterings should be significantly reduced. Water is added in the morning. From November, it is customary to stop adding moisture, since the cactus itself is in dormant mode. Watering is not done until spring.
An exception may be flowering plants. In this case, water is added no more than twice a month.
