As we have already said more than once, autumn is a very good time to add a couple of new “comrades” to the trees growing in the garden.
For example, at this time of year it is not only possible, but also necessary to plant apple trees, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, an agronomist, and a landscape designer.
And we will tell you what needs to be added when performing this procedure so that the seedlings take root well.
The answer, perhaps, has long been familiar to professional gardeners - for this, young trees require phosphorus, which is directly related to the growth of roots, rooting and, accordingly, the wintering of the apple tree.
Even plant growers who have not undergone training will be able to answer the question of where phosphorus is found – it is, of course, superphosphate.
So, dig a planting hole for the seedling, the diameter of which is 60 cm, and the depth is 80 cm.
Pour humus on the bottom (one bucket is enough), and superphosphate on top (one kilogram is enough).
To prevent the roots from getting burned, it is worth adding more humus to the superphosphate so that the underground part of the plant does not touch the granules.
