The bud mite is a parasite familiar to many gardeners, whose favorite “victim” is currant bushes.
An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told what needs to be done with the onset of autumn to get rid of this harmful insect.
For this purpose, it is worth using a drug called “colloidal sulfur”, or more precisely, its 1% suspension.
This is the product you need to water or spray the plantings in the garden with.
Please note: colloidal sulfur works at a temperature of +20 degrees, so you cannot delay with such treatment of the bushes.
If you use the above mentioned composition in late autumn, you will not notice any effect.
But, in addition to this, preventive measures against the pest should be taken.
If you do not want the currant bud mite to settle on it, do not neglect the rules of agricultural technology, which include pruning, weeding and fertilizing.
