How quickly the cloves grow roots and, accordingly, take root determines how the garlic will survive the winter and grow in the future.

To make this process faster and more efficient, experienced gardeners use a special solution (not one, but two), in which they soak the planting material.

The first procedure is carried out to disinfect the garlic cloves - this is the only way you can get healthy material for planting.

The second solution has a stimulating nature and is needed to ensure that the root system grows well.

So, the plan of action is as follows: first, pour a 1% solution of potassium permanganate over the garlic for 20 minutes.

After this, you need to pour a glass of wood ash with a liter of hot water and leave it for 3 hours to infuse.

Now you can drain the water into a basin. Do this so that the sediment that fell to the bottom remains in the jar - you don't need it anymore.

Place the garlic in a bowl with the infusion for 12 hours, and then you can safely plant it in the garden bed.
