There are quite a few methods of fighting ant pests, but only some of them can be called simple.

Ash
It turns out that if you sprinkle ash on the anthill itself, as well as the area adjacent to it, its inhabitants will immediately leave their familiar place.
Try it yourself: even ashes from a barbecue will do for this purpose. The main thing is that the layer of ash is not small.
Boiling water
This option cannot be called humane, but that is how it is in the process of fighting ants: either you kill them, or they kill you.
Boil more water and pour it on the anthill. If necessary, do the same the next day.
This way, without “dancing with a tambourine”, you will be able to get rid of ants that spoil crops and threaten to leave you without a harvest.
