Not everyone is sure that it is possible to grow a decent harvest of aromatic dill during August, notes Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, a landscape designer and agronomist.

Is it possible to grow an excellent harvest of dill in August?

As it turned out, this task is not difficult to cope with. During the last month of summer, dill will have time to ripen and please the summer resident.

You will need to plant the planting material shallowly into the soil. The depth should not exceed three centimeters. Until you clearly notice the first sprouts, the soil will need to be moistened.

As a rule, you will notice shoots already on the 3-4th day.

Depending on the variety, dill ripens in 2 weeks to 40 days. However, it is important to remember that the plant can survive light frosts, as it tolerates cold weather well.
