Adequate watering
After harvesting, gooseberries require a lot of moisture to resume all their vital processes. Therefore, each plant should be given at least 50 liters of settled water.
Gooseberries need to be watered once a month before frost sets in.
Phosphorus and potassium
These components are necessary so that the gooseberry has enough strength to form buds next year. The composition of the fertilizer is simple.
For each plant, you will need to allocate five spoons of superphosphate and one of potassium sulfate. The fertilizers are mixed and carefully embedded in the soil before watering.
