Any summer resident who grows cucumbers faces a number of difficulties on this thorny path.

One of the obstacles is excessively hot weather, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, an agronomist, and a landscape designer.

Therefore, we will hasten to share with you information about what you should treat cucumber beds with if it is hot outside - this is the only way to avoid damage to the harvest.

But first, it is worth remembering: the optimal temperature for the growth and development of this crop is 26-29 degrees. Anything above this indicator leads to a reduction in fruiting.

Since we, unfortunately, cannot influence the readings of the outdoor thermometer, we need to prepare a special solution designed to help cucumbers survive the heat.

Its basis is the preparation “Zircon”, known to many gardeners.

Fill a bucket with 10 liters of water and dissolve an ampoule of this product in it, then pour the resulting solution into a sprayer and treat the beds with it.

The next day, you also need to carry out the treatment, this time adding 0.5 liters of whey, a teaspoon of boric acid and 10 drops of iodine to 10 liters of water.

According to experienced farmers, this treatment should be repeated every 5 days if the hot weather lasts for a very long time.
