Whether you will be able to harvest large plums depends not on the variety, but on whether you have fed the tree.
An expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told what and when should be used to fertilize plums.
The first feeding is carried out before flowering using a solution prepared from 10 liters of water, 30 g of potassium sulfate and 60 g of urea.
For one tree you will need all 10 liters.
The next time you should feed the plum is at the beginning of June. This time, dissolve 30 g of nitrophoska in a 10-liter bucket of water and pour the resulting mixture under the plum.
As soon as the plums begin to ripen, apply the third feeding.
Add 30 g of urea and 40 g of nitroammophoska to 10 liters of water. One adult tree needs 3 buckets of prepared fertilizer.
Don't think that the harvesting and fertilizing is over. After the plums are picked from the trees, dissolve 30 g of potassium sulfate and 40 g of superphosphate in a 10-liter bucket of water and pour 2 buckets under each tree.
