Snakes are a fear that many people have.
However, you shouldn't assume that reptiles are just waiting to attack you.
Usually, to provoke aggression from reptiles, you have to try really hard, which is what we do: just remember how most of us start to behave when we see a snake.
We start making noise, panicking, poking the snake with sticks to drive it out of sight.
Instead, you should immediately leave the place where the unpleasant encounter took place for both of you – this is the only way to part with the snake in peace.
But an even better option would be to not allow a “date” with the reptile at all.
If you are afraid that a snake will come to visit your property, you should make sure that it is always in order.
To do this, don’t be lazy in cleaning up trash, taking out cut branches, leaves, and other things that may seem like an ideal hiding place for reptiles, outside the local area.
These simple measures will reduce the likelihood of you encountering a snake on your property by 90%.
