In recent years, the summer months have seen quite hot weather.
Therefore, every summer resident must be prepared for the fact that at some point garden crops will have to be protected from extreme heat.
An obvious and mandatory action is to replenish the moisture deficit in the soil.
In high temperature conditions, water evaporates quite quickly and the soil becomes dry.
If you don't moisten the soil during hot weather, the plants may simply die.
However, abundant watering is not the only procedure. Thus, cucumbers need to be subjected to another type of "processing".
How to protect cucumbers during hot weather
On hot days, you can’t do without abundant watering in a cucumber bed.
There is a problem, however: it is easy to overdo it with the amount of water used during this procedure.
As a result, the area may become over-watered and turn into a “swamp”.
To prevent this situation and at the same time provide cucumbers with a sufficient amount of moisture, they need to be sprayed rather than watered.
It is advisable to alternate the procedures. In this case, the garden crop will receive the required volume of water without causing harm to the plant.
But it is important to remember that in extreme heat conditions, cucumber bushes should be doused with drops of clean liquid as often as possible.
