Not all summer residents can boast of the fertility of the soil on their plot.
This means that it will be impossible to get a good harvest without using fertilizers, no matter how hard you try, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, an agronomist and landscape designer.
Today we will talk about how to make bell peppers grow.
To achieve this goal, 2 weeks after planting the pepper in open ground, you will need to water the plants with a solution of 10 liters of water and 2 teaspoons of urea and superphosphate.
For one pepper you need 1 liter of the resulting nutrient solution.
After this, it is worth observing the growth of the crop. If the pepper grows slowly, use an ash solution for feeding.
Like the first fertilizer, it is easy to prepare – pour 2 cups of ash into a 10-liter bucket of water and stir thoroughly.
When you notice that the pepper has started to form ovaries, prepare 1 g of ammonium nitrate, 2 g of superphosphate and 2 g of potassium sulfate, which should also be dissolved in 10 liters of water. Again, 1 liter of solution is needed for one plant.
