This is what experienced gardeners recommend feeding potatoes with in July to ensure a rich harvest.
First feeding
You will need:
- 10 liters of clean, settled water;
- half a kilogram of mullein;
- 25 grams of urea.
The ingredients are mixed and applied to the potatoes 2-3 weeks after planting.
Second feeding
It is applied when the potatoes begin to grow tubers.
For 10 liters of water, add 15 grams of potassium sulfate and double superphosphate.
Third feeding
It is carried out several weeks before harvesting.
To do this, prepare a mixture in 10 liters of water:
- 30 grams of superphosphate;
- 250 grams of manure.
At the same time, gardeners note that phosphorus fertilizers are used at the final stage of ripening.
Thanks to such additives, potatoes become tastier.
You can prepare the fertilizer by dissolving 100 grams of superphosphate in 10 liters of water.
