To get a rich harvest of raspberries, you should not relax even in summer. Many gardeners believe that fertilizing ends in spring.
This is not true. One timely feeding done in the summer can radically change the situation with the harvest. We will tell you what is needed to prepare it.
Supporters of mineral fertilizers can be proud - a fruitful "elixir" is prepared from the following additives.
To prepare you will need:
- 60 grams of superphosphate;
- 40 grams of potassium salt;
- 30 grams of ammonium nitrate.
All ingredients are mixed in water. Traditionally, a 10-liter bucket or watering can is used to prepare nutrient mixtures.
It is recommended to apply the solution to the soil twice.
The first time is in the spring before the plants begin to awaken. The second time, the fertilizer is applied in the summer – before flowering and berry formation.
After application, the soil is mulched.
However, you should not get carried away and allow an overdose.
Gardeners claim that after such feeding the raspberry harvest increases significantly, as does the quality of the berries.
