The most capricious plant in the garden of all fruit crops can safely be called a pear. The tree grows in the same conditions as an apple tree. But with the harvest, not everything is so smooth.
At first, the pear takes a long time to ripen before it starts bearing fruit, and then it may suddenly turn out that the fruit is not large enough. Here's how to fix this oversight.
If the pear tree produced a crop of small fruits last season, this can be corrected in the current season.
To do this, you need to take care of special fertilizers. They are applied according to the schedule.
First feeding
The tree must be fed in the third year after planting. In the first two years, the nutrients that were added to the hole are quite sufficient for it.
At this stage, urea is used. Three tablespoons of the product should be dissolved in water. This composition is used in the spring after the buds have swollen.
Second feeding
This feeding is carried out during the flowering period.
To prepare the nutrient mixture, you will need 10 liters of water, in which you need to dissolve 100 grams of superphosphate.
Used for watering.
Third feeding
After the tree has finished blooming and the first ovaries appear, you need to add a solution of nitroammophoska, prepared according to the instructions. Two buckets of such fertilizer are needed for one tree.
