Sometimes a summer resident who grows raspberries may be in for an unpleasant “surprise”.
We are talking about the appearance of white worms in the fruits.
Most likely, these are the larvae of a very dangerous pest - the raspberry fly.
Fortunately, this problem can be prevented by carrying out certain treatments on the plant.
Moreover, it is not recommended to use chemical preparations. It is necessary to use a simpler, cheaper, safer and at the same time no less effective means.
Solution against white worms
Raspberry bushes need to be doused with drops of a product that any summer resident can make on their own without any problems.
The base should be the most ordinary baking soda.
You need to take a bucket, fill it with cooled boiled water and add 5 tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate.
After the powder dissolves, a solution will appear that needs to be sprayed on the plant.
It is advisable to do this before the raspberries begin to bloom. The action should be repeated a week later.
Soda will not spoil the future fruits and will not make them small and tasteless. But the product will quickly deal with the pest.
