Experienced gardeners water their greens with “special” water once every couple of weeks.

Gardeners primarily care about tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, berries and other similar plants, and only occasionally think about parsley or dill.

In order for greens to yield a harvest before the cold weather sets in, they also need to be fed. Parsley and dill need compounds that will stimulate the growth of leaves and stems.

Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told how to feed greens throughout the season.

The simplest and most effective remedy is urea. In 10 liters of water, dilute 1 teaspoon of fertilizer, mix and water the plantings at the root. Repeated application of fertilizer can be carried out every 2-3 weeks.

In addition, parsley and dill like to grow in well-lit areas. The soil should be loose and airy.

Regular watering and periodic fertilizing will allow you to get a solid harvest of greens even from a small garden bed.
