In June, gladioli must be fertilized with organic matter. Then the flowerbed will become a real attraction of the site. The ideal moment for feeding gladioli comes when they have 6 leaves.
To prepare the fertilizer, you can use rotted manure or chicken droppings.
Fresh material should not be used, as plants may get burned. In addition, such manure contains pathogenic bacteria and fungal infections, which can lead to flower diseases.
Manure (chicken droppings) should be diluted with water in a 1:1 ratio. Then the solution should be left to infuse for at least 10 days.
