Smart gardeners who use fresh sawdust soak the shavings in a solution of nitrogen fertilizer. For example, 1 glass of carbamide (urea) is dissolved in 10 liters of water. This allows you to compensate for the loss of nitrogen.
To avoid all these manipulations, it is better to use rotted material. Such sawdust perfectly performs the function of mulch and does not take away from plants the macroelement responsible for the growth of green mass.
