During this period, the plant needs potassium and phosphorus. These elements are responsible for the sweet taste of currants and the size of the berries.

There are several options for fertilizing shrubs.

First of all, you can pay attention to mullein. You need a liter of the product per 10 liters of clean water. It is advisable to add a tablespoon of ash to the resulting mixture.

Another option for feeding is a solution of potassium humate (50 ml) with ash (1 glass). This amount of fertilizer should be taken per bucket of water.

Mineral fertilizers are also relevant in such a period. This can be nitrophoska (3 tablespoons per bucket of water), or it can be a complex composition of 10 g of nitrogen, 15 g of potassium fertilizer and 30 g of phosphorus.

Experienced gardeners recommend using nettle infusion. This fertilizer contains a lot of potassium. At the same time, you can mix a little bread crust with the weed to stimulate berry growth.

Yeast and starch products are relevant.

If we consider foliar feeding, we can treat the bushes with succinic and boric acid, which strengthen the immunity of plants. The fertilizer is prepared simply: it is advisable to prepare 2 g of each product per 10 liters of water. As soon as everything is thoroughly mixed, we can proceed to using the solution.
