The vast majority of summer residents know only about one option for watering onions.

We are talking about the classic method, which involves using only pure water - without any additives.

However, if the gardener’s goal is to obtain a bountiful and high-quality harvest, then he needs to be cunning and experiment.

Sometimes you need to water your garden crop not only with plain water, but also with two solutions.

First solution

An additive such as ash will have a positive effect on the plant.

There should be one and a half glasses of unburned wood residue per bucket of water.

As a result, a solution will be prepared that should be used to water the garden crop.

Second solution

A very small amount of potassium permanganate (literally a few grains per liter) should be added to the clean liquid to obtain a weak solution.

Alternating watering of garden crops with ash and potassium permanganate is a guarantee that the plant will acquire good immunity: it will get rid of diseases, as well as dangerous insects and microorganisms.

In addition, the onion will acquire many of the nutrients and microelements it needs. As a result, the vegetable will be juicy.
