Three nuances prevent us from collecting a good harvest of strawberries, which are not only tasty, but also a very healthy berry.

An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told what to pay attention to when growing strawberries.

The problem is caused by various factors. Here are some reasons why strawberries may grow small.

1. Insufficient Light: Strawberries need plenty of light for optimal growth and development. If strawberries are grown in insufficient light, they may become small and weak.

2. Incorrect watering: Strawberries need regular watering, but too much or too little water can result in small fruits. Excess moisture negatively affects the taste of the berries and can lead to rotting.

3. Nutrient Deficiencies: Strawberries require certain nutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, for optimal growth. If the plant does not receive enough of these nutrients, it may become small and weak.

Thus, to get an excellent strawberry harvest, you need to grow it in a well-lit area, water it regularly and periodically apply complex fertilizers.
