Experienced gardeners only add one simple solution, which creates an ideal environment for hydrangea.

Watering and soil

Hydrangea needs two things in particular. First, moderate watering. It is especially important to moisten the soil in the summer when dry periods occur.

Secondly, the plant needs acidified soil. Often, many crops prefer neutral or alkaline soil. Hydrangea, sorrel, rosemary, parsley, parsnip, and rhubarb like acidic soil.

  • stimulates and prolongs flowering;
  • activates plant growth;
  • creates an unfavorable environment for weeds;
  • repels pests.

In order for the solution to be beneficial, it is important not to overdo it. If you use too much of the product, the hydrangea may get sick or stop blooming.

In 10 liters of settled water, dilute 100 ml of apple or table white vinegar. Mix and water the plant at the root, slightly retreating from the stems of the hydrangea.
