How to treat the garden after flowering: pests and diseases

19.05.2023 10:54

During flowering, the gardens are not treated so as not to harm bees and other pollinating insects.

Competent gardeners try to carry out the necessary preventive manipulations before this time. They consolidate the achieved result after the gardens have finished blooming.

We will tell you which pests and diseases you need to continue to fight after the inflorescence petals fall off.

1. Cherry fly

You can reduce the pest population if, 5-7 days after flowering, you treat the garden with Aktara, Fufanon, Alatar, Iskra and other preparations.

Then take a break for three days and treat the plants with Bordeaux mixture or Horus, which is compatible with most garden preparations. Strobi, Skor, Fundazol, and Topaz are also used.

2. Rust

First of all, you need to treat the pear. The trick is that the same composition for this tree is not used more than once. Ideally, alternate different preparations, following the instructions. The interval is once every 2 weeks.

3. Coccomycosis

Peaches suffer from this disease most often. It is recommended to use biopreparations "Lepidocid", "Bitoxibacillin", "Biotlin" or "Fitoverm".
